Hello, I have a 2.0 NT 94 Eclipse, I just got it. I traded my 95 eclipse 420A eclipse for it. I have sone some searches and Havent been able to come up with any catback exhuasts for the 1g NT motor. Is that because they do not make them? Or Does a Turbo exhuast run the same way? If so; Is using a Turbo catback okay then?

the exhuast on the NT isn't similar at all the Turbo version. As for the path of the exhuast, the FWD are similar. the AWD exhuast would never fit on a FWD do to the rear axles and differential that the FWD lack. from the catback may work, but i'm not 100% sure. the size of the piping maybe considerably different considering is a NT. just trying to help

I figured the Size was gonna be to big, but I can get it in a 2.5" and im not really about going fast, Just trying to keep it clean looking. So I should look for a turbo exhaust that is for FWD not a AWD?

FWD. As stated, the FWD goes from downpipe, to the fuel tank, turns, turns again, and out the back. The AWD fuel tank is set back farther, so the exhaust "basically" goes straight back. But you can buy a turbo downpipe and exhaust from a FWD turbo and it will work.

OOOpppsss. I was thinking with a turbo swap as I did. I am pretty certain the flanges are different and will not line up. I had to modify the downpipe a bit to get it to work temporarily with the N/T exhaust.

As well it was a turbo downpipe.

Yeah the only company that I have found that makes one for the n/t is Pacesetter...I am currently running this exhaust..And am pleased for the price...Fitment wasn't too bad..It has worked good since I have turboed the car also...big_d

Alright, thanks alot guys for all the help I'll Keep checking back But as of now it looks like I will be making and welding my own. =( not good for looking clean.

Like what was said, the catback from a fwd turbo will work. Punishment racing used to make a n/t header that was flanged for a turbo downpipe.

hey guys i am swaping my turbo engine that i am building. will a turbo back exhaust system work for a non Trubo FWD car but with a turbo engine?
It's bent in a similar manner from the cat on back to the rear of the car if that's what you're asking.

In front of the cat it's completely different, and the piping is a different size as well.
