i am looking at purchasing a 95 talon tsi and it is leaking a good amount of oil where the feed line connects to the turbo. the guy before me put a 1g turbo on it and said he had to change the feed line. the line is not a banjo bolt but a regular threaded nut like you would see on a metal brake line. is that how it is suppose to be, and if so should there not still be a copper washer there? please help out!!!!

If it's not a banjo bolt then how is it getting oil? Are you sure it is a 14b turbo? And yes, if using a banjo bolt then you need 2 crush washers: one between the bolt head and oil line and one between the oil line and turbo.

If your sure that he used a regular bolt in place of a banjo bolt on a 14b then I would be hesitant to buy the car. Who knows what else he may have done to it.
