1990 Eagle Talon AWD Race Car Images

Here are a few images of my '90 Talon AWD........I bought the car in August of 1989 off the dealer lot.......The body has 58,000 original miles on it. It has been stored for the last 5 years in my garage. The car was dynoed at Buschur Racing at 624 wheel horsepower and 559 pound feet of torque. The car is presently in the process of getting an 8 point chromemoly cage installed

That is very clean. I wish the exterior on my 80,000 mile 91 talon looked like that.

Thanks everyone I actually started modding the car in the summer of 1990 with 3,000 miles on the clock. I bought a HKS cat back exhaust, HKS Sport turbo upgrade (16g turbo) an HKS air filter, an HKS electronic boost controller, and a Centerforce Dual friction clutch....... these were the only performance parts available back then ......

damn , thats nice and making 620+whp on a 1g intake manifold? is it extrude honed? that this is clean as a mofo!

nvm i read your mods list not a whole lot there , but everything you do have is of the best quality

and isnt an 8 point cage good for only 9.99 anyways? im not sure thats why i asked, but i bought a 10 point cage because if i break 9's i dont want to tear into the car again.

back then, when you started modding your car, what else on the streets could keep up? i just cant imagine a 1990 camaro or a mustang keeping up with a nicely modded 1g dsm.

9.50 per IHRA rules I believe. The holes in the light are for fresh air back when the filter was behind it.....now it is in the old side mount intercooler location. Yes the intake is Extrude honed....Yup........back in 1990.......I would spank stock and lighter modded Camaros and Mustangs.....I was running 13.10's back then......I should have taken pictures of some of their faces back then getting beat by a 4 popper ... ....
