so my car has been down for about a week (had some electrical problems). I finally get everything back together today and im driving it down the road and first i notice that my boost gauge is fogging up (btw its an autometer phantom). When i noticed the fogging i started paying a little more attention and it was showing my boost spiking (but only sporatically, not every pull) up to about 20 (on the stock t-25!). It was also rattling a little, but i just thought it was the mounting screws that are attached to nothing. It is mounted where the cigarette lighter should be and i have noticed the rattling before, but the spiking and fogging is completely new. Also when it spiked there was no difference in how the car felt as far as how hard it was pulling. It normally runs to right around 15 psi anyway, so looking down and seeing 20 i was freaking out. So i cruised it on home nice and easy and also noticed that the rattling sound only occurs when i am in vacuum. Anyway, i was just wondering if something is actually wrong or if its just me. BTW i just tested the car for boost leaks not too long ago (maybe 2 weeks ago) and have not driven it but once or twice and not touched anything under the hood. Thanks in advance guys.

Spiking is pretty normal on a t25 and usually sporadic as well. You won't feel much of a difference from 15-20 psi with a t25 anyway.

The only thing to perhaps help with the spike is make sure the MBC line is tapped as close to the compressor outlet as possible(if you have a MBC).

no i currently do not have a boost controller of any kind. Thats why it supprised me so much, i dont know what could have changed between the week that it was down, nothing was touched other than the tail lights. Also i have never experienced any kind of spike before today.
