I have recently put some new stuff into my 99 GSX, EVO3 turbo, dejon SMIC, fic 650cc injectors, and a walpro 190 fuel pump,. The guy that helped me put it in is good, but everyone has limits. Now the Problem is that it starts hard now, but still idles at 750rpm, and when i take off the car bucks and sputters and backfires black smoke. at 3000rpm it has nothing and goes no where. Do I need to tune it? could My fuel pump be bad?. The car ran mint before i put these things in. And i put the stock injectors back in and it runs worse. I have allready bought the ECU +, and a laptop. if tuning is the issue but i'm having trouble connecting because of Windows Vista??!!. is there and else that i might need? thanx for any help

Check all of your vacuums, maybe you inadvertantly pulled one of them off while you were changing the injectors.
+1 on the boost leak test.

The 650cc injectors need either dsmlink, safc or ecu+ to run properly. Since the problem accured after the install theres most likely some error in the wiring.Check over the fuel pump heres another link with pics.

Can also be

exhaust leak before turbo
Boost leak at smic or pipes

Definite check for boost leak, and get an SAFC or dsm link for tuning. Not only do you need it but you'll love it further on down the road. :dsm:
