hey guys,

so i have my ADR victory wheels (18x7.5) on my gsx, and the top caliper bolt came loose and fell against the rim as i was driving. needless to say it pivoted off the other bolt and punctured a giant hole in the rim, all the while shredding a circle on the inside of the wheel:cry:

not cool. my question is, i kept one of the stock size tires on a stock rim for a time like, this, but will it hurt to drive it with 3 of the ADR wheels, and one stock? is the size going to hurt the LSD or something? or is it just tread wear? and how long could i drive without it hurting it?

thanks for your time guys, i need help on this FAST!!!!!

If the tires are not the same size, it wont be good at all for the differential. you can just put 2 that match on the front or back, but that would just look silly. Why dont you just put all 4 stock tires on till you get a new rim?

because i dont have all 4 tires, only 2 tires on 2 rims, and they're both for one side of the car

also, i cant just 'get a new rim' because i dont think they sell them separately? does anyone have experience with a vendor that sells them separately?

please hurry, i need this resolved quickly, and i dont have the money to buy a whole new set of rims, and dont wanna waste money on a whole set of 4 stock tires i wont use later!!!

if you got 2 diff rims/tires on one side and two different on the other, then jus try n match them to be closer to the other. like the two closest sized in the front and others in the back or whatever.
i know even when i just get a flat in the front- i will move a rim/tire from the back to the front and put the spare in the back. its less stress on the tranny/diff.
