hey guys,my brother having problems with his clutch.he was driving round till he couldnt get into any gear.When the Car is Off you could get into any gears very easy,but as soon as he starts the car-can't get into any gear.his tranny is freshly rebuilt,clutch in a good condition (2100 ACT clutch kit with OEM TOB.He got 1990 FWD Talon.We tried to bleed the clutch but it didn't helped at all.we did like 6 times.... :( weird what should ill try next??

P.S. sorry if this question was answered before,but i did try searching and it came up with different situations...
 
dang this thing just built? Try checking the fluids, then the lines that carry the fluids, if it was just rebuilt I would have it back to that guy and have him rebuild it again. Maybe he will see what happened. That doesn't sound like a freshly rebuilt clutch
 
no clutch is like 2 years old i guess, and he rebuilted tranny not that long ago,but he didnt drove the car ### of some reason.it had min fluid in clutch master cylinder ,so we fill that up,but didn't helped whatsoever
 
its eather springs on the clutch plate or you have air in the line try bleading in differnt places...a buddy of mine had this happen to his jetta the bleader on the slave clynder was cracked and you couldn't see it and it was taking air in every time he hit the clutch
 
Well like i sayd i had the same problem my car would go into gear when it was off but once the car was running the clutch would not engage ..
take a look under the dash where the clutch goes into the fire wall to see if theres any fluid leaking into the car if so you cylinder is bad,
 
i got no leaks under the dash,so that means that my master cylinder is in good condition,ill prob gonna take tranny out to see whats going on in there,but i never did that before,so im kinda afraid to do it myself
 
Have you gotten under the car while some moves the clutch up and down to see if the slave cylinder is even moving? Try jiggling the clutch fork as well while you're down there to see if maybe it's broken. The fact that you can only get gears with the car off suggests that the clutch isn't disengaging. Has the car been stored for a while, or did it get wet then sit for a few days? The clutch can sometimes rust itself to the flywheel if it's sits when it's wet.

it wasn't sitting,the Turbotrix guys installed AFC Neo to his car and did dyno.after that he took the car,drove like 10 min and bang something happened to the clutch.
 
well today i found the problem,it was really stupid thing which made me think a lot.All of the tranny bolts where unscrewed,so i tighte"n them up,and clutch worked awesome LOL) thanks guys for all of your inputs...
 
well first,i didn't expect that,because the guys from turbotrix called my brother and told him,that he got a lot of bolts that were unscrewed,so they said that they gonna tight all of those loosen bolts.but prob they missed the tranny,which i think its the first thing to ckeck,plus they changed the starter,and those two starter bolts were loose too... im unhappy about theyre service.:toobad:

im having problems with clutch myself.my brother had one,we solved it,but right now im in there,but in different situation.
i was having problems with my clutch setup and engagement.So i fin ot that my clutch pedal assy was bad.I bought a new one from mitsu dealer,put it in,bought a new Fidanza clutch kit.new fork,new pivot ball,new slave cylinder,new ss clutch line.My master cylinder is almost new.Put everything in the place where they should be.Now im having engagement problems again.bleed the clutch like 30 times as the (Talon, Laser, Eclipse 1G Info DSM) says.didnt help.so where is the problem?? could my flywheel be bad??? because 3 months ago,when the guys installed my sec ACT 2100 clutch kit,they shaved 8lbs off of my flywheel,so i think it couldnt get bad that fast.I spent a lot of my $$$ just trying to fix that damn clutch problem,and i dont want to buy a new flywheel if its not a flywheel problem. Need Some help really bad,i ate 4 clutch kits in 4 months i dont know whats going on.... :mad:WTF

Wait how can you shave 8 lbs off a a flywheel? Secondly what is your problem that you are having? You just described what you did, not your actual problem. oh an try and clean up your spelling :thumb: kinda hard to understand what your sayin. :dsm::talon: :laser:
 
the problem is that i have a really bad pedal engagement,my extended push rod is all the way out,i got probably one thread left in the bracket, or whatever it calls.Plus my tranny bolts are keeping unscrewing.i tried "Thread-lock",but it didnt helped me out..
