I have removed all my emissons, and just got around to hooking up my boost gauge in the FPR line. Now, I followd TABOO's emissons removal list and they say its ok to remove the FPS since it is only really used at start up, BUT, my understanding of the FPS was that it read the boost off the intake and up the fuel pressure 1:1.

So I am concerned about running my MBC at 15psi for fear of only having 37 psi of fuel instead of 47? Should I put the FPS back in or do I have no idea what it does? HELP!

You should have 37psi of fuel pressure since you're a 1G.

I just had the thought that the FPS kicked in more fuel when it read more boost in the intake. Guess Im just a NOOB.

Heres a stupid question, then, when safely running up to 15 psi on a stock fuel system where does the extra fuel come from, is there already enough there?

The fuel pressure regulator (attached to drivers side of the fuel rail) controls how much fuel pressure there is. There is a vacuum line attached to it from the intake manifold. That is how it sees how much boost / vacuum there is so it can change the fuel pressure accordingly.

Yeah, I just put my boost guage there, so it was literally right in front of my face. Figures it was that easy. Thanks a lot, Ill learn it all someday...

You don't want to use a boost guage. You will want a liquid filled fuel pressure guage. It being liquid filled will help absorb shock from the engine bay, and smoothen out the pulsation's from the fuel in the rail. If you follow the Taboo diagram you will be fine.

I think he meant he just installed a boost gauge and used the fpr vacuum line to tap into.
