Well heres my story

I bought a 1995 eagle talon TSI AWD yesterday on ebay now the motor is no good and I need a replacement.

All I want to know is where to find a stock 4g63t from a trusted site becuase I am very skeptical about some of the ebay stores I've seen.

My freind is selling a 7 Bolt motor if your interested. This would be more appealing to someone thats looking to do a re-build of build up. #3 cylinder is scored slightly but can/would be taken care of with a mild overbore.

Always be skeptical about buying a motor from anywhere/anyone! In most cases, People will say its good but its a blind assumption, Atleast with out compression #'s, Miles, how it was maintained and so on.

There is a shop that sells pre assembled 6 bolts. I dont remember who it was, but I remember they ran about 4999 or something.

Mark at overbore.com can get you a decently build 7-bolt for $2850. It has the 7-bolt crankwalk mod done to it as well as some upgraded brearings, bottom end parts, and top end parts. I bought a 7-bolt from him but I had mine customized heavily. Check him out at www.overbore.com. He also advertizes on eBay (but don't buy there) and you can see all the parts in the 7-bolt. Here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MITS...emQQcategoryZ33615QQihZ006QQitemZ160108130283

You can also get the 6-bolt motor for $1500 but you have to do the 6-bolt swap then.

I'd recommend just doing the sixbolt swap. You can use most of your 2g engine parts/accessories and the swap itself isn't that bad.

I've debated it, but it's kind of pointless when my numbers are 170 across the deck.
