Clutch Problem

When I push in the clutch I hear a God Awful metal on metal screeching sound and the rpm's drop.

Adjusting the clutch doesn't help and the fluid is full, no signs of any leaks from the slave or master.

Any Explanation?

Yes I did, although I've been on this ACT 2600 for about 4 years now.

Guess I might as well do the whole Clutch/Flywheel then

I would also do the master cylinder, slave cylinder, etc. (everything else associate with a clutch job) if they haven't been done recently.

Pull the inspection cover and see if there are any shavings or metal particles in the bellhousing. Beyond that I would say you would have to seperate the motor and trans to see what is binding to cause the rpms to drop.

I thought it was a sign of cw if the rpm's dropped when you pushed the clutch in? Im probably wrong.
