Hooked up my logger for the 1st time today and suddenly ABS light is on, also had a high idle around 1400 rpm, turned the car off for a few seconds and started it back up and my idle is back to normal but the ABS light is on permanently, checked the fuse and is good. I did a search on ABS and came across several others who have had their ABS light come on after installing a logger. How are they related?

The datalogger grounds pin 10 on the DLC. That puts both the ECU and the ABS computer into diagnostic mode.
There are several solutions, first you can try waiting until the ignition is on to plug in the logger cable, if that works you can try a "auto on" cable or put a switch into yours. You can also disconnect the pin from the ABS computer or cut the wire.
