ticking sound from around steering column?

alright so when i start my car up ( well before my ecu fried) there was an intermittent tick coming from behind my SAFC-2 which i have mounted up on the steering column( you can see it in my pics if you go to my gallery) anyways i was wondering what that sound could be? WTF and is it bad?

Are you sure it wasnt' comming from under the radio as the MPI Relay is back there and will most definitely start to click when the ECU starts to die. Could also be the steering wheel lock freaking out but doubt it :dsm:
