Do I need to plug my antenna wire back in?

I have just recently installed a new ECU in my car, so I had to take my sony deck out. When I put it back in, I forgot to plug the wire/cable for the antenna back in. I don't have a power antenna. Could that hit anything and short something out or cause some kind of spark? Don't want to fry my ECU again because of that. Just wondering if I need to take out my stereo again to plug it back in or not. I don't listen to the radio, but I just don't want something bad to happen to my stereo or my car. Thanks.
