6g72TT Question

Wasn't sure where to post thisas it is more of a 3S question...anyway...

Will a FWD Transmission from a 6g73 N/A fit a 6g72TT block?

Ask over on www.3Si.org. They will be able to tell you easier than us. From what I picked up on looking over the subject, though:

>>I would say yes as long as by 6g73 you don't mean a USDM 6g73 from Avengers because their transmissions are on the opposite side as a 6g72. There have been instances of the 6g73 motor being swapped in place of a 6g72, and owners not noticing any difference until the motor itself is opened up. If the N/A transmission bolts to the 6g73 motor, the 6g72TT transmission would also bolt to the 6g73 motor. So it would make sense to say that the 6g73 transmission would bolt to the 6g72TT motor. Though I do not know why in heaven's name you would want to do that. The 6g73 motor was rated at a measily 155bhp while the 6g72TT has nearly twice that amount.
