Thats what i was thinking. So is it shot. I do have my broken down 99gsx,i will just use that i guess

thats multiple misfire right?

could be water down in the spark plug holes or on the coil. I'd pull each plug wire and make sure its dry

I dont think that water would have gotten all the way down, but its possible... check it and blow the water out... but still try swapping that cas because its easy and it will tell you if thats the problem... did you unplug anything?

umm. I beleive its 2 bolts... 10 or 12 mm... and there is a bracket that goes from the TB to the CAS... at least on my 6 bolt there was

Do you have aim?

Isnt this it. I just changed whatever this is, and the coilpack from my 99gsx and nothing.

no.. the cas is bolted to the passenger side of the head, where the TB is... its a round device thats looks like a distributor should be there...

Im assuming you took the coil packs off the transmission, where the spark plug wires go to..
Code:
[TB][intake manifold}

get it? the cas is the circular thing on the top-right part of the head, next to the throttle body.. just look in there and you will see it....

I cant get this pic to format right, but you should get it..

no... look at the top of the valve cover from under the hood... now, take your hand and put it on the valve cover.. Then move your hand to the top of the valve cover.. Now, slide your hand along the top of the valve cover all the way to the left... its right there.. it has wires going in to it, and it is circular...

that has some pics... you cannot miss it if you look on the head at the top left...

yes.. they all have it... just look in the same spot.. you wont see it if you are not looking at the car... again... top-left of the valve cover on the left side of the head.. it looks just like the 1g... are you even looking at it, cause its not hard to miss... big circular thing, top-left of the head, on the side, with wires plugged into it, and it has 2 or 3 bolts holding it to the side of the head.. its right next to the thermastat.... its in the same place as the 1g.. just look...

If there are wires comming out of it, then you found it... then you just need to grab the one off your other car and swap it on...

I don't know much about the CAS's but my MAF somehow lost connection and acted like that. Just a suggestion.

i just wanna throw this out cause this same thing happened to me.. i got water in my intercooler and some how i also had some $#it gooped on my maf connector.. check that out

Is it possible to put a 97-99cas in wrong? I did the cas, maf, plugs, wires, comp test, coilpack, i am getting confuded!
