last weekend i went to the track.and i was really unhappy About my time that i did.I got 14.82
my speed was 104 and my 60 foot time was 2.8.
Last year i went there,i was bone stock, well i had small 16g and i Hallman B-controller. and i did 14.642. speed was 107 and 60 foot time was 2.6 Now i got a lot of things done to my car and when i get my time slip last weekend i was shocked.
what do you guys think i could run with my current mods and a street tires?
would you guys look at my profile and tell me what should i do to get away from that horrible 2.8 60 foot time. thanks alot.Going to track after three weeks and hope to get better results.

Think of it this way. You get a 1.8 60 foot, which is doable for any dsm driver, then that takes more then a second off with the added jump on things.

Well it could be a couple of things. For one your car is a year older which means another years worth of wear on the engine, also what was the weather like when you went a year ago vs. this past time? This could have a lot to do with why you slowed down.

You have alot of things working against, first & biggest issue is your fwd & street tires (trust me, I know all about it). Next do you have an LSD or what kind of suspension setup do you have? Next 18's defently won't help as you can't air them down much (yes I run 18's as well). What kind of boost were you running both times & what tire pressure?

Others are right, for starter your 60's are killing your times. Half a second slower on your 60ft usually ends up being about a second slower at the other end. Work that out with your last time at the track & having a 2.6 60 ft like the previous time & you should have run a 14.4 with the current setup. A 2.8 60 ft is even bad for a fwd, with my evoIII 16g I got a bunch 2.3's my first time out. I was probably running around 19 psi & best of the day (1st time at track) was 13.9 at 106.2. I ran 20 psi in my front tires.

As for trap speends going down, either your running less boost, are driving worse or have a horrible tune. In a fwd making more power doesn't usually help your 60's but you usually gain mph.

well i need to go and tune my car for sure,### when i put a 550's and gm maf setup i didnt do any tuning, just got a Air fuel ratio right by using wideband and thats it,probably u were right that i need to get a really good tune job,
