I'm about to buy all new calipers because I replaced one and when to bleed all the others and the next one I went to (front right) had a really rusty bleeder screw and then it broke.. I want to replace the rest of the calipers but I was thinking.. while I'm doing this if I should replace them with AWD dual piston calipers..

What has to be done to covert the fronts to dual piston AWD calipers?? Tried searchign this couldn't find info.

All you have to do is get the rotors, pads, and the dual piston calipers from a 2g GSX. :thumb:

Yes, the AWD rotors are bigger. They also require different pads.

And you need to make sure you buy the right calipers, unless you want to upgrade your lines. If you get the 2G calipers, they will have a banjo bolt holding the line into the caliper itself. This will just bolt right up to your stock line. If you happen to get calipers from a 1G (which I did), you'll have to buy adapted lines from RRE (the only place I know that sells them) since they just screw right in instead of using a banjo bolt.

Just search for dual piston upgrade or look at the tech article about it. There's a lot of info out there on this subject.

I'm doing this right now. Already have the Brembo OEM replacement rotors (10.8 inches in diameter) and the two pot calipers. Just bought the 99 dollar SS brake lines from RRE, just waiting on the delivery. I think I'm going to go with EBC pads.

This reminds me, I have to replace my rear lines and pads. Here I go to one of the vendors... :)

Look in this thread to see a nice comparison photo.
