I was wondering if anyone out there makes intercooler piping for a 1g eclipse, thats actually made for our cars. When i bought the car it had a big ebay front mount. But it has all mixed match piping. Its rele a mess. Some of it may have cracks in it. I figured by doing this i will advoid getting new boost leaks and getting rid of the old ones. I have some 3in exhaust pipe, as intercooler piping. And my engine bay looks like a mess. Or should i just invest in a Supra Side mount. And maybe it will help my over heating problem.
Because, no joke my intercooler looks like it belongs on a Mack truck. So I think its obstructing air hitting the radiator. So any help with this area will help greatly. I have a hallman boost controller, I started to mess with it very carefully, But i am not hitting a solid boost number. And it bucks and such while driving and hitting boost. Not rele sure what the problem is. But i have a feeling its the intercooler pipes, i know one has a crack in it, and the intercooler is insanely huge, i think overkill for my setup..

ets and dejon tool both make 1g ic piping, along with a host of others these two are just my suggestions

i looked on dejon tool, it seems like it comes into a kit with the intercooler core... Let me know if i am mistaken...

I have used and sold ETS's intercooler kits as long as they've been around. You will be hard pressed to find a better product at a better price. They offer multiple choices for the 1G, all with perfect fit and function. I can answer any questions you may have about them, so can the vendors on here that sell ETS's products. I'm not saying that it's the only option out there but it is where my money goes 10 times out of 10 when I purchase intercooler parts and accessories.

It kind of sounds like you're hitting fuel cut though. Do you have a datalogger? Is anything done to the fuel system? The giant intercooler core blocking airflow to the radiator could be an issue if it's a case of extreme overkill. Some core dimensions and pics of how it's mounted would help determine if that's really a part of your overheating issue. A simple boost leak test will show if you have cracks/leaks in the intercooler core and/or pipes. You can easily make a tester if you or nobody around you has one.

Now as for the intercooler stuff. Are you looking to replace what you have with a stock side mount and hard pipes or do you want to replace it with a quality FMIC that you should never have to replace?

I do not have a data logger. I would like to upgrade to something that performs a little better then what i have.. I have all hard piping but you can tell that it looks cheap, and is from ebay. I dont know if i should continue use of this huge front mount. Or Just make due with it. I figured just go the supra side mount. I dont think i am hitting fuel cut. I have a safc, 2g maf, 650cc injectors, and 255lph fuel pump. Plus i am only hitting around 10-11 psi and holding, then i am getting creep to about 15-20 and holding. But no After market fpr. It only gets kinda toasty on the highway..

I took a look at there site, and took a look at there inercooler pipping kits. But all the pipping they are giving you doesnt look like enough to complete it..
