i want to put my new o2 housing on but i can't seem to get the o2 housing off and one bolt stripped out first question is how do i take the exhaust housing off and if you have pics that would help alot and two how long approxamatly does it take?

There are 3 nuts and 3 bolts needed to be removed. 2 nuts holding the down pipe to the O2 housing, and 3 bolts and one nut holding the O2 to the turbo. I would recommend Blaster PB penetrating oil, awesome for seized bolts.

Also what helped me when removing my 17 year old O2 housing was first soaking the bolts and nut constantly for 8 hours before I attempted to remove them.

And second I bought a really long 1/4' SnapOn rachet, it is like 9 inches long; the longest I could find in 1/4". This help get better leverage in the tight places.

Also according the the SnapOn man, the SnapOn sockets are designed to not strip nuts and actualy, in most cases, are able to remove slightly striped nuts... Although my nuts were not striped, I believed what he said.

It took me about 30 minutes to remove my O2 housing and another 30 to disconnect the downpipe from it.
