I took the sunroof out of my 97 Eclipse RS and put it into my 95 Eclipse GST .... The sunroof was working perfect in the RS ... it opened and closed like it should ..... The sunroof in the GST was not working right at all ..... I took the WHOLE ENTIRE sunroof out or the RS and installed it onto the GST ..... Now it opens fine but it wont close all the way ... it closes almost completely but it wont go the last little bit .... when it closes its almost flush with the roof but i have to push it down with my hand the last little bit ..... Does anyone know how i can fix it so it works right ?? any suggestions ?? are the sunroofs different sizes maybe ??:dsm:

I didn't think that the RS came with a stock sunroof?? And I know the GST did so if your tying to put an aftermarket sunroof in place of a stock sunroof it probably wont fit unless it is a stock sunroof put in the RS

The RS does come with a stock sunroof. i had one on my 98 RS. im having trouble with my sunroof on my 99 GS . i think i am just gonna replace it with a new one. but i would assume the two sunroofs u have should be the same size. maybe just a little tightining up should do the trick or something of that matter.....

Ok thanks to everyone ... I figured out what was wrong. All I had to do was tighten up the bolts by the track of the sunroof ... Now it closes perfect !! :dsm:
