In the gallery theres a new picture of an evo hood on a silver 2g, this hood doesnt have the side vents, only the big middle one. Any ideas where he got it from?

Does anyone know the specs of the bolts that hold the hood to the hinges? 2 of mine are broken, one on each side.

Im about to get a CF hood soon, is there anything I can use as a substitute for hood pins? I dont really wanna deal with them rusting out like on my friends CRX, not to mention I dont like the way they look generally. I was thinking about getting some gas struts for the hood possibly...not sure if that would work but it would help...i think.

I's not sure about the EVO hood, but I can help with the other question.

Here's a link to the AeroCatch pins, they sit flush with the hood, so they're barely visible. I think the actual pins are anodized, so they shouldn't rust. They're also available in a locking version (for the security conscious). Might be exactly what you need :thumb: .

thanks for the bolt specs, and these hood locks are pretty cool, I havent seen them before.

My hood pins are all aluminum construction so they are very corrosion resistant, but they're not that shiny or blingy really.
