i wondering if you can some how run a maft with blow threw setup with out buying a hard upper intercooler pipe i plan on doing a front mount soon so i dont really want to buy the hard pipe for my side mount just to run the maft thanks for the help and input guys

I have never seen anyone doing this. That is not to say it's not possible, but the hardest thing I think would be to try and find reducers to fit both the MAF and then the stock uicp. I also don't know if the stock uicp would be able to support it. I would just wait until you install the front mount to put in the MAF since you're doing it soon.

My stock UICP (and lower for that matter) is 1.75". I'm going to be using an intercooler that has 3" inlets and outlets (same as the GM MAF!). I have to make custom adapters because I think what I'm about to show you is goofy. You could theoretically get two of these

and then two of these

and some 1.75" and 2.5" pipe to couple them together. Sounds like a waste of time and money to me.
