Hello.
First off I think it is important to say that I have searched, came up with 21 threads with no answers to my question.

I'm looking to buy a rear sway bar for my 91 awd. From what I understand front is plenty good and there is no need to replace it.
Now, certain sway bars will not clear 3" exhaust or do not come with mounting hardware, end links and such.
My questions are, Should I bother buying a front sway bar?
Where can I buy a rear bar that will clear my exhaust and that has all the required hardware.
What brand should I go with.
Note: I do lots of spirited driving at the track. It is rather narrow with sharp corners.( it is all we got here :( The car is also a dd.

All i have is a suspension techniques rear sway bar which is all thats needed, front sway bar isnt nessecary for most of us, the rear one greatly reduces understeer and makes it funner to take corners making the car more stable with less body roll were you can get faster corner entry..... Thats my experience with rear sway bars... To add I also have H&R 1in drop springs, and kyb gr-2s struts, Ingalls fast cam bolts, welded rear control arms for active toe elimination, with front and rear struts bars and battery relocation to the trunk with some nice hankook ventus rs2s 225/50/r16s on rx7 16.8" rims with 1/8th inch spacers front and rear and my suspension feels very capable....
 
I have a 1" suspension techniques rear bar. I have 2 1/2 exhaust with no interference with the sway bar. I also made rear sway bar links with 2 heim joints. I have posted some photos of the links . Check my gallery I have photos of my suspension modds there.It might give you some ideas

Anyone else that can contribute to this thread, would be greatly appreciated.
 
Picked up my Suspension Techniques rear sway bar from RRE, and have no clearance issues with my 3" SS Megan exhaust. Came with urethane bushings and everything needed to install it on the car, aside from tools of course. Definitely makes the car a lot more responsive, and helps greatly with understeer on technical courses. Don't have the rear active toe fixed yet, though it's on the plate.
Just remember, the general formula is 'stiffen the rear, reduce understeer. stiffen the front, reduce oversteer'... which is why I laugh my ass off at FWD/AWD guys with front strut tower bars. :b Just makes the understeer *worse*, and most cant explain why they have it on.. or if they can, it's because they saw a RWD car with one, and thought it 'looked cool'. :b
Need to stiffen the back end until your car starts to oversteer (it'll take a while and a LOT of work, trust me) then stiffen the front to bring it into neutral handling with as much overall chassis rigidity as possible. So yeah, don't bother with a front sway bar or STB for a good long while.
