Bought a 1g 90 awd for $350 just need to figure out why i am not getting ignition, and deciding to swap out the non turbo motor cause he blown up the turbo motor.

I need to clean the mold, mice crap and ants on the outside and a little bit on the inside but mostly coming from side skirts, and fender areas outside of car. So i need some help on what should i do to get this done.

I went ahead and trashed the whole trunk, gonna take out the rear seats and vacuum whole car out but should i just go ahead and gut the car and replace everything?

Car is covered in mice crap, so what do i use Lysol or use a bug fogger thing to kill ants and disinfect the inside or what?

Thanks

if it has mice crap... make sure you check everywhere for a little home, i cleaned my 90 top to bottom, still had the smell, took of the panel behind the drives door, there has a huge home in there, used a shop vac then simple greened the entire car, end of smell, good luck, nice pick up btw

I found a big one next to the rear window water bottle squirter thing, but i will have to check some more did you use simple green to clean the car?

there was only one in my car but just to be sure i would check everywhere, i also had nothing in the car but a cage when i cleaned it with simple green.

Just sell it to me and be done with it:)
I would tear the whole inside apart and clean/disenfect everything.THen put it back together using whats not broke or ruined/what you dont break.
Then buy whatever interior pieces you need from me:)
I have all you would ever need.
Just turbo the non turbo motor and add small mods. Then use it for a dd.
A turboed non turbo has more power than a turbo motor.(diff compression pistons)
As long as you dont plane on going crazy with the mods.It will be a great/fun car.

I would probably just strip it down to metal, put a cage in it, and call it a day, but that's just me.

I agree with pitbull419. Strip everything and disinfect it. You could get some kind of disease or some shit if you don't. I would also pull the fenders off the car and clean and check behind them also.

Ha you would love to have this car huh, i really dont need interior parts because the other 91 awd i am trying to get rid of so i dont want to strip it anymore.

I have a 50 trim could i put it on and just keep it at 16 psi, i dont have any spare turbos, and what is the diference in the compression ratios?

Ha i would but i am broke and no job.

u got pics of the car
not yet i was gonna take some before and after but i forgot to take em ill make a thread with pics later.

I will pull the fenders but i want to remove everything and replace it all.

non turbos have a higher compression ratio.Which intern will give you more power when turboed than a lower compression turbo engine.
As long as you dont slap to much boost on, it will be fine. You will be ok with 16psi assuming the rings are still good in the car.

Hrm I was never under the impression that turbo'ing a used N/A is ever a good idea without turbo internals EG> It would suck to spin a rod bearing, run a cam flat, and otherwise blow the piston rings. 16PSI on an N/A? That would rock! I want to try :O I have 100K on my 4g63.

Nice car, I got my 92 DSM for $400 w/ the 4g63 swap cause the tranny is stuck in 3rd. Ahh, replace the TCU :thumb:

Have fun !

compression was 190 across so everthing else is good but the felpro pos cardboard head gaskit

Does this mean you're installing an IC, swapping to a turbo intake and putting the turbocharger/exhaust manifold set on? :rocks:

I have another turbo motor from the 91 awd i am parting out but the only turbo i have is the 50 trim and the boost controller does not go lower than 14. I was gunna pull the motor and swap it but i dont feel like it.

Sweet, I haven't driven a turbo'd 4g63 before. Not yet. My car will die one day and then it will be time.

The problem with turboing a non turbo engine is that the non turbo pistons are not well suited for a turbo.

Dont remove the fenders -- you can look under the fender liners for crap. If you remove the fenders then the next buyer will suspect an accident.
