I noticed there's a bolt practically unscrewed from my altenator (right side) as you can see in the picture. What do i do with this?

#2 - What is this loose wire? I found it hanging from under my front fender, and traced it back to the altenator where it is bunched up with several other wires that plug into the altenator. Any ideas?

There aren't many wires down there so it could be any of these:

stock horn wiring
stock fan wiring
stock alternator ground
stock oil pressure wire
stock fog light wiring

Can you get a picture of which harness it leads to?

the pictures are downloading to my photobucket. I took a close up of the wire. Also, it looks like the wire is in the same harness that leads to a switch that is plugged into the altenator and then also goes into a plactic-ribbed tube that looks like it goes into the sending unit you can see in the pics I took from the driver side fender.

the is the pic of the switch in the altenator and the plastic tube below it where the wire seems to run; that blackish grey wire that goes down across the picture to the bottom right corner IS the wire that's in question.

this is a driver side fender pic of a sending unit? where the wire might attatch to.

I think it's the thicker yellow wire...

The wire is for the power steering pressure sensor. You really don't need to worry about that. In fact, I would just cut it down to where it goes into the harness and make sure that you tape it with electrical tape. Does your car squeek reall bad/dies on you? It looks like your upper alternator bracket used for putting tension on that belt is broken. As long at the shorter bolt (circled in red) is tight and your belt has tension, its not a big deal. But if you ever remove that bolt or alternator for any reason, replace the alternator belt tensioning bracket.

alright. that's good to know. I thought that bolt looked funny like that. the car has a very slight squeal occasionally but nothing real bad. I'll just make sure to tighten that shorter bolt you circled and keep an eye on it. THANKS!
