Well I got the and 2nd was horrible and now 1st is starting to give. Good fluid could only band aid it so long :| . I know a stock transmission on a 2g can hold a good amount of power DD and even drag racing a stock transmission I have talked to a few guys with a fp3065 and another running a green on stock trans. Mine is not the case, syncros are done with a t-toothiny.

I don't want to get into a tre vs shep vs jackson ect. battle. I have looked at the on-line list of goodies stages come with and they are very similar and they are all great. This is a daily driven car which wont see anything bigger than a 16g. Once or twice a year going to the track.

Would stage 1 or 2 do? I can't imagine I would need a race/stage 3 trans. My concern is in 2 years after going stage 1 the syncros will be toast. Or maybe I should get a used trans for 500 bucks? Ideas would be awesome. And while im doing it I will be doing the rear seal, act clutch and flywheel.

I know my TRE tranny must have 40k miles on it and it shifts great still except for reverse grinds a little bit sometimes.

I do not know which stage it is though. I like it a lot though. I'd say TRE but I don't have any experience with shep or anything else.

I dont care about name tre and shep both will own compaired to the garbage i have to shift right now. I just was woundering if a stage one would be a stock rebuild that ina few years would need another build running a 16g with a 2600 street disk.

thanks for the inputs :)
