I'm about to buy a Palm so that I can start datalogging on my 2g. My question is which palm (or other brand) would be best? I've know that Palm m100's, 105's, and Palm IIIc's are good and cheap, but I'm looking to get something that is more versatile. Here is a list of some of the features I would like it to contain ranked from most important to least.

0. Obviously it needs to be Pocketlogger OBDII compatible.
1. Comes with, or able to get, Hotsync Cable
2. Backlit Color Screen.
3. GPS compatible
4. Able to be connected to constant power.
5. Good sized screen.
6. Plays MP3's (can this be hooked up to stereo speakers somehow??)
7. Stylish Design

Thank You.

So, after doing a bit of research (not a lot so feel free to educate me), it seems that most GPS hardware requires the use of the serial port. That would make having GPS and datalogging simultaneously not possible.

Does anyone know of any GPS hardware that doesn't connect via the serial port?

Also, is there a Palm out there that has an additional port that would allow datalogging to be done via serial cable and GPS connectivity via said alternate port? Keep in mind that this has to be a datalogging compatible Palm.

there is software that we do sell at bestbuy that will run gps through a usb port, go to your local store and if they dont have it in stock they can order it for you
