Ok I am getting oil in my water AGAIN! The first time the T25 went out and since the car is still under warranty they replaced it and the oil filter housing first. So I now have a new oil filter housing and a T25. It was fine for a month or so and now it is doing it again. I replaced the T25 with a 14b to see if it was that but it wasn't. I have flushed the system out about 4 times now. I also did a compression check and it was 180 on 1&2 and 200 on
3&4. I do not think that is the problem, however it did loose vacuum from where it was. It used to be about 18 at idle and bow stays around 15 at idle. It still runs the same but I do not know what else it could be. Could my headgasket be blowing?? The compression built alot on the first stroke and the consecutive on the rest. I have not done a boost leak test to see if that is the trouble with the vacuum because I currently do not have a compressed air source. ANY ideas???? Thanks guys. :thumb: :dsm:

Well yeah, your headgasket could be blown at the oil and coolant galley's thus mixing it....your head gasket could be sealing good around the cylinders giving you a good reading.

its not uncommon to have a little bit in there, are u running 100% water? it could be rust from all the water as well

I am running 50/50 mix of tha freeze and water. It is definatly oil though.

My vote's with the head gasket - a break in between the cylinder and the coolant channel but not out of the block will mix them without really lowering compression.

As 91tsi- stated, it could be scum or rust released while running 100% water-cooling. Are you losing any coolant? Are you finding more coolant in the oil (graying) or more oil in the coolant (mucky)?

EDIT: Beat me to the post!

If there is definitely oil in the coolant, then it may even be that one of the channels has been broken by something in the head or block. There were a few posts where an oil channel was busted by the water pump bolts and sprayed all over the timing belt.

I suppose it would be possible that the bolts ruptured a channel and allowed it into the water pump?

It could also be from the water-oil cooler, they have a tendency to crush if the oil filter is overtightened and leak oil into an otherwise completely healthy cooling system.

Yeah I thought that to but I do all my oil changes and take care to not do that. I may have tightened it to tight on the last time. It is a new one. I guess I will check it out. Thanks for the responses, any more?

I had the same problem,If you have an internal oil-cooler, it could be that the O-ring in wich seperates the coolant from the oil;broke.
