Help i dont kno what else to do????

Ok heres the story, i have a 1990 awd tsi with a 16g, xs tubular mani, dejon tool upper intercooer pipes with the maft, and 2.5 catback. I bought the car not running, it need an ecu and radiator. I bought an ecu and started the car it was throwing alot of gas, i mean black smoke everywhere and wouldnt rev past 2k rpms and would stutter. I got a new pump it had a walbro 255 with no regulator so i got a stock one. I checked fuel pressure its perfect, no injectors are stuck open ( oh and the car is on for 2 min. and all plugs are black) and ecu aint burned. I even tried leaning it out with the maft, when i do that it throws less smoke but wont rev past 3k rpms. Now my question what can this be? Please i need someones help, any experiences anything. Thanks


P.s. This might be irrelevant but where does the vaccum line from the wastegate go to, because i think before i took out the bcs restrictor i would drive it and when it would hit 3k rpms (after awhile) it would drive normal like if the turbo would lean out the gas or something.

Start out with a compression test, see where that's at.

Would that have to do anything with the too much gas issue.

im having close to the same problem. I alos have a walbro fuel pump which came with my car and i dont know if its a 190 or 225. Also I dont have a fpr so if its a 225 that might be both of our problems.
