i just put my 2.3liter stroker in my car this past weekend. the parts i used all new parts:new oil pump manley rods, wiseco pistons, cranks scraper and a reman 2.4 liter crank. the car has 25 miles on it.the noise sounds like it is tapping something in the oil pan and the oil pressure is a little low. there is a knocking noise but it is only at idle when given gas it seems to go away.any info would be great

have you checked your oil to see if there are any metal flakes? if theres knocking in the oil pan and you see flakes when you drain your oil...chances are you might have spun a rod bearing

i took my car back up to my friend at mitsu and had a couple of people look at it. they think the noise might be a lifter. so i am going to change them to see if it goes away
thanks for help
