I have a 95 Tsi fully built now using a 3in maf and tuning with a safc2, My car for some reason wont go above 2k rpms and is running really rich you can smell the gas, i had my stock maf on when this started and my car was throwing a code for it so i replaced it and it did nothing, i unplugged it while the car was running and it didnt faze it, the car itself idle about 200 rpms roughly, im running 880 precision injectors if it helps, anybods got any clue? my car is at a performance shop and my bill is racking up so please someone help me out thanks

mebe some wiring check to see if the pink wire for the SAFC is connected right and if its getting an airflow reading. my crappy soldering gave me that prob a few times. other things u might wanna check are: all the IC pipes, o2 sensor and ECU.

i know its not a boost leak ### i just got all my pipes prof welded together, and i have already been through the wiring so many times, i dont think tho o2 sensors would make it do that but ill check and i think its prob the ecu

Sounds like it could be a couple things I would run a boost leak test and also check your plugs and wires. Also, with 880 injectors you are going to have a real hard time tuning your car with an SAFC. 750cc is about it's limited.

You say you just had all of your pipes welded but have you check all of your couplers and clamps? I would double check those as well. Let us know what you find. :thumb:

This may just be going out on a lim...buttt......I had a problem like yours...Car would hit like 2300rpm max.....and kinda of lug there....the pipe connecting to my intake mani was half off at the bottom.....sounds like you probably have everything hooked up 'perfect' but just throwing it out.

Well it ended up being some vacumn lines hanging underneath the intake manifold, so the cars starts normally now, BUT my head gasket is leaking now over on the #4 side, jezus this car is cursed

Before you do anything too drastic I would recommend checking your head studs and make sure they are tightened down to the correct torque specs.

If you recently just installed and torqued them down they tend to loosen after the engine runs for some time. I would recommend double checking, no harm in being sure. :)
