Help Needed for installing 3 cat

Guys heres my problem, I purchased a 3 inch downpipe that replaced my cat couple years ago. Now I want to install a Magnaflow 3 catylic converter, do I need to repurchase a new downpipe? Or can they just cut the downpipe and weld in the catylic converter for me. Right now my Megan Downpipe just bolts on to my catback exhaust, doesnt look like I have enough space to push the cat back any further.

You should have a problem getting an exhaust shop to do that. Make sure you go to a reputable one so you don't get stuck with a shotty job.

If you take it to a shop have them cut and flange the downpipe as well as the piece of pipe they cut off the downpipe so that if you ever want to remove the cat again it is just a simple bolt on procedure and you already have the straight pipe.
