i need some help to decide about the 16g turbo. i have decided to upgrade the turbo to 16g but im not sure where would be the best place to buy it from...ebay offcourse is the cheapest place but the other websites are charging $500 or more where ebay is around $269-$400. let me know guys what u think of ebay turbos thanx

Your best bet is going to be the E316G w/ 2g install kit. A 16g is not direct bolt on for your car but can be easily installed with a 2g kit. It is going to be your best bang for the buck turbo. If you want direct bolt-on go with a Big T-28.

no one on here will tell you to get a ebay turbo but I have one and there are plenty of people on here that have them. My opinion is go with what you can afford.

If you're deciding between which 16g turbo to get most DSMers will tell you to get the MHI EvoIII 16g turbo. That one is the real Mitsubishi turbo that has been proven to be a powerful and reliable turbo choice. MHI stands for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. When you look at the 16g turbos on eBay you'll see the so called "knock-off" or copies of 16g that are not made by MHI. You can do a search about the ebay 16g turbos for a better idea about them. Some users will say they had bad experiences with them while others will give you positive reviews. There's also the GT 16g sold and made by Turbochargers.com Again you can find reviews about this turbo by doing a search. What is your budget? Are you planning to upgrade to a bigger turbo down the road? The MHI 16g with the 2g install kit will cost around $800 depending on which install kit you order, if you port the turbo or not, and whether you purchase the 34mm wastegate flapper. Buying a eBay turbo is about half the price; however you are taking a gamble on it.

If you don't have the money for the quality product then wait, if you to gamble then do it
But u could always buy used.
