im still on the market for my dsm. its looking like a 2nd gen talon right now. what turbo setup would i need to run consistant 11's and still be streetable? the one im looking at is bone stock and i need to nkow what exactly it is that i need to do it the right way. im trying to keep upgrades around 5-6000. i need to know what size injectors, what type/clamping force clutch, fuel management, detonation management, all that happy horseshit and i figured id ask here where theres some expierience. thank god for a newbie forum:D

Do you want bare minuim to run 11's or nice sh@t for the money!

Lots of turbos to chose from and any number of them will get into the 11's.....

It's easier if you goto my site and look at my stuff.....
Just add a BIGGER turbo,FMIC, might as well get head work to be sure, @ about 25psi race gas, and 50-100 shot NOS and I hope it's a GSX your getting.

BTW: consistant meaning a probably a built motor and lots of money for tranfers and stuff.

whats your site?

also, i need this to run consistent 11's in the track on race gas, but ill settle:) for 12's on pump gas. nah but seriously its a gst but i want it to run at least a mid12 on pump gas. ive got say 6000 to work with and i need everything, boost controller, gague, everything. im new to dsms so im not really sure what im looking for.

k say i want to revamp the whole intake/exhaust system. im thinking:

intake pipe, bov, wastegate, boost controller, o2 housing, turbo manifold, downpipe, race pipe, catback, and a fmic along with the gagues and electronics.

am i missing anything at all from the manifold to the muffler?

im very new to turbos as my last car was a '88 N/A civic HB with a ls/vtec frankenstein conversion. this will be my first turbo car.

gstspeedracer whats your site?

also can anyone point me to a dsm engine chart that tells what engines are in what?

PS: thanks in advance to everyone whos giving me help w/ my future dsm:)

http://www.GSTspeedracer.homestead.com Thats his site...

11's in a FWD is pretty goddamn hard. They like to spin the tires off when stock.

But a good upgrade path goes like this.....

Turbo- 20g or bigger/ete32 or bigger

Exhaust-Ported 2g manifold, external wastegate(or internal with ete turbos), ported O2, 3" d/p, 3" t/p, 3" cat back

Motor work-Metal head gasket, hks or web cams(street grind), 91 Big rods(safer than the weaker 2g rods), 1g intake manifold, 1g throttle body

Fuel- Walbro 255lph intank pump, 650cc injectors,

Intake-Greddy/Apexi FMIC with piping, Injen intake

Gauges/Electronics- Boost Gauge, EGT Gauge, Water Press Gauge, Oil Press Gauge, Apexi S-AFC or DSM Link, Turbo Timer, Boost Controller of some sort

Miscellaneus- lighter wheels with a BIG slicks(drag radial wont cut it), some sort of LSD (quaife, kaaz etc) weight reduction,

theres more i prolly forgot but good luck.
