I have done a search regardig this subject and read until my eys hurt, it seem like everyone has their opininon on what is the best. I am a little confused on the quanity used and the mixing. I used BG Syncroshift in my previous GST and did not change it as often as everyone sugests and did not have any problems, shifting or mechanical until the dad my daughter totaled it out. This GST i replaced the oil with Pennsoil Syncromesh and had the same results as i did with BG. I deside to change the oil since it has been quite some time since i last replaced it, i could not find BG Syncroshift (short of ordering it from RRE again) or Pennsoil Syncromesh at the local parts house. I use Mobil 1 synthetic oil in my engine so i decided to try their Fully Synthetic 75w80 gear oil, no it takes all i can do to get it in 1st or reverse when cold and i get a gring everytime i shift from 2nd to 3rd at over 4k rpm. In my search some members mixed two types of oil viscosity, the FWD 's oil capacity is 2.1 qts how are they adding 1qt heavy + 2qts light, would this not be too much
