Does anyone have an alarm with a built in Turbo Timer with a Manual transmission...I was looking to add an alarm to my car and was looking at some of these models but I only know one person that has one and his car is an automatic.

Clifford works fine... As do ALL Directred electronice sytems.. I like the Avital brand the best!

DEI (directed electronics) has that feature in their high end viper and hornet models. i believe they call it "valet mode", as if you are running into 7-11 for a few mins, and dont want to keep restarting your car...

My Avital has it called turbo timer...in the manual...on the transmitter etc...etc...it was a top of the line model!

Just wondering... By alarm with turbo timer do you all mean that the alarm is able to function with a turbo timer like the Greddy turbo timer or the alarm has a turbo timer built in it self?

OK yes they all have a tt, the point of the Clifford is it uses an Intellistart module. It has a failsafe that makes it nearly impossible to start it in gear. Avital Boa Hornet Wasp Rattler and viper all lack this feature. I wouldn't install anything but a Clifford in a stick too much liability and I got too much too lose when they start the car in gear and run over their kid or something.

Exactly why I choose mine.
