2.0l head on a 1.8

is it possible to put the 2.0l head on the 1.8l block? if it is id be doing a rebuild on the lower end and putting a 2.0l head on it.

Not to be a a$$ or anything but unless you really are attached to your car you could probably get a 2.0 DSM for less than you would spend on a rebuilt 1.8 or a rebuilt 2.0 head.

It would probably take you less time to get a 4g64 or a G4CS (that is, if you want a 2.4)and swap it in, than try to make a 2.0 head work on a 1.8 block. Those engines are garbage.....maybe I should ask you....what is your goal with this?

I was thinking of they hyundai 1.8l dohc motor. Didnt think he was talking about the 1.8sohc motor.
