So I just got another 1g. This is my third dsm since November. Its a 90 AWD 5spd Talon. I bought it about a month ago and just got it back from my friends shop, we had to change out the side case cover of the trans because it wouldnt go in reverse.

It has a rebuilt engine with a built Head
3 Inch Apexi Exhaust
Wideband 02 Sensor
Hard Upper Intercooler Pipe
Rewired 255 LPH Fuel Pump
External Wastegate

Right now I am still debating on keeping it or selling it. The past two that I have had, I have had them for about a Month. Ive made profits off of the past two and could make a large one off of this one.

looks good on the outside, however,

The mbc is teed into the BOV line, thats a no no. It can cause the BOV to malfunction.
The BOV is VTA. Does it have a MAFT?
The valve cover says hundai.

I have a jdm valve cover

I need to get a tube to recirculate it

Where should the mbc be teed into?




Also, what looks hacked?
 
Nice, the body is very clean and straight, I'm kinda jealous. That's why all my pics are only on one side :p You probably already know this but you should get an AFPR for that 255. Just needs a little TLC :thumb: I have a weak spot for clean 1ga's, red definitely doesn't hurt.

Edit: where is that j-pipe hose going? Like Geoff said, its should be going to the BOV/WG. Venting and no air filter kinda makes me worry about the previous owner...
 
Couple more things.

Get a cam gear cover. Get a heat shield for that exhaust manny (jmfab sells one with a cut out for ext. WG. And also, get rid of that breather on the valve cover. Run a line to a SEALED catch can, then back to the intake.

Good luck man.

Find 2 mani to turbo bolts too before you throw a shield on it:p I'd throw some power steering fluid in it and see where it leaks from. If it's just a bad power steering pump you can find one for cheap at a junkyard etc and it'll help in selling the car. Oh, and a belt to go with the pump if it works out for you ;)

Edit: Lower exhuast cover, make sure the dump tube doesn't dump into the engine bay, I can't tell if there is a tube on it. Make sure the PCV is still hooked up/routed to the manifold.
