Replacing the fuel gauge sender and I really screwed up.
Can't remember which way the gasket goes on.
Don't know if it turned inside out either.
Full tank of gas and it is spilling everywhere.

Does the slotted end go up or down?

In the tank lip or around it?

Don't see how it makes a tight seal.

I feel retarded...

Gasket goes inside the tank.
Slotted end down.
There is a small lip that makes the seal.

Don't know why I couldn't figure it out before, must of had gasoline poisoning. :)
