1g upper timing belt question

My brother's 2g has a 1g 7-bolt engine in it. It currently has no upper timing belt cover, so we want to get a black cover for it. Will a Galant VR-4 cover work? I thought all 1g covers were the same but this website (http://www.machv.com/1gtibeco.html) proves me wrong. So is it possible to put a Galant VR-4 upper timing belt cover on a 1g 7-bolt engine? (It also has a 1g head). Thanks!

They are all the same. It's the lower ones that can differ.

Thanks for the answer but I called up MachV and the guy said the 6/7 bolt 1g upper covers are different. Can anybody else confirm this one way or the other?
