About Homemade 4-gauge Grounding Wire Kit

hi, do you know if I can use a 8-gauge grounding wire instead of 4-gauge grounding wire to make a homemade grounding wires. does it make any problems to the car like fire or something else?

Use whatever you want...

it wont catch fire if you dont ground power wires.....

the wires that i have are for amplifier power(from the amplifier to the battery) can I use them to do the grounding wires.

For grounding the battery to the chassis and motor, use a minimum of 6ga wire, others use 8. Your current flows through the negative side, which in terms should be as short as possible and the bigger the wire, the better.

You can use power lines if you want.
