My slave cylinder failed on me in the middle of a car wash :thumb:
I have a 2600 on my car which im guessing showed my weakest link.

I put on a slave cylinder from a different, working car.
Bled the line and it was up and working again.
Only thing was the engagement point was soo incredibly low to the floor.
I took the car to the track and couldnt get it into second because of the low disengagement point.
I have already adjusted the master rod as far as I could.
And today I put in a brand new Master cylinder even though there was no leakage shown what so ever.
bled the lines again and same symptoms.
No leaks around the rubber line near slave..

Should I get a brand new slave? or should I be looking at something else??

Thanks
Mike

You most like need to bleed the line more. If you get air at the top near the resovoir you'll basically have to bleed it all the way through. Also the rubber line isn't helping much either. Extended slave rods are bandaids.
