so i finally got an safc in my car and here are my questions, first off the safc is all set to zero for now, should i try tuning yet, all the engine mods i have so far are, fp2 cams, hard upper intercooler piping, greddy open air filter setup, and a lightened flywheel. Is it worth trying to tune yet ??? also i have a 2g maf waiting to be installed, is now a good time or should i wait till i get my 190 pump and my fic 650's

thanks

o and before anyone asks i have a logger setup

you do have a logger right? check out the fuel trims on it and make sure they're all around 100, if so, you probably don't really need to tune anything if you're still at stock boost. If you just put on hard pipes also make sure you have no boost leaks. If I were you I'd wait to do a full tune untill you have everything in if you plan on getting the rest of the parts soon. Oh you may want to retard your base timing a bit once you get those bigger injectors in. the 2g maf will make up for a bit of it but you're going to see a lot of timing if not.

i have a logger setup and the car has been tested for leaks, i had 1 at the tb and i just rebuilt it and retested. so im set with that.

Start by dialing the low throttle map using the fuel trims. There's a tuning guide for the afc on here, i forget where it is but you should find it if you search.
