Ok so after taking my car to mitsubishi motors to find out why my car still throws a code for the front o2 sensor even after replacing it they said it is wired incorrectly.

I have no idea how the thing is supposed to be wired, I know it is the sensor and then like 3 ft of wires then it plugs into another set of wires but not sure where it runs to after that. Any help please?

Someone most likely installed an after market universal o2 sensor on the car. Buy a direct replacement type from a parts store or your mitsu dealer.

I did buy a replacement OEM one from mitsubishi, the wires going to the ecu must be messed up. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or know where they should hook into?

That sort of helps but what I need to see is where each individual wire from the 02 sensor goes so I can trace them back and make sure they are in the right spots.
