I'm trying to get my '91 up & running. I have a no start situation that I have been looking into as of late. Compression could be better(pretty sure I need a head gasket), but it should still start. My issue is this, I have no spark or fuel pump, yet the tach is working . This is directed to some of you with a little more experience with the electronic end of these cars. Do you think I need a new MPI relay or the CAS sensor? I'm no newb to these cars, but this is my first personal DSM, and I don't have a service manual yet. Your help is appreciated.

I am a mechanic, but without the manual I can't trace the wire diagram can I. I don't think the coil or ignitor chip will cause the fuel pump to not cycle while cranking the motor(could be wrong).

No put down at all spool, legit point to make, yes I checked the fuses, LOL. Thank you for that link kenamond. I've checked it out before, but was not to sure about it after experiences with other "manual cds". It seems there are a few people on here that use that cd and like it though. Think I'll check it out. I aslo checked the coil and ignitor chip Tim, they checked out ok. thanks for the extra lead though.

Yeah, the ECU was the first suspect. Replaced it and now have moved onto either a CAS or MPI relay issue. Thanks for imput:thumb:
