For those that don't know what dsmap is, it uses a ostrich eprom EMULATOR and tunerpro RT to tune our cars. However the guys over on that project gave us one better it uses a gm 3bar map sensor and gm AIT sensor and converts our cars to speed density. My problem is that they took out all of DTC codes!!! how the hell are we supposed to know when something goes wrong??? the site plainly says not to run this if you think your cars is going to break but hey we own DSM's for pete's sake!!! anyone have any thoughts???

I just installed it and have had very little problem with it. I do have a cel now but it is for a tps and only comes on when the throttle is not pressed. When I use mmcd it still tells me the code... I like ds-map very much and my car has never ran better. Great stuff, and I sold my safc and maft so I ended up making 10 bucks on the conversion.

As far as reliability I drove from Killeen, Tx to Rolla, Mo today. About 11 hours. I had no problems and got 25 MPG. With the wideband doing the closed loop operation I had 14.7:1 AFR crusing at 3500 rpm the whole way.
