Ok well this just started today. I went out and started my car this morning and went it started it did not run on all cylinders. I checked the ignition chip under the coil pack to see if anything was wrong there and everything was fine. I went throguh and checked all wires and nothing seem to be out of place. I took the car for a ride and it was still running like crap and finally it came into it and started running fine. So then i drove it to work and then i went to leave work later that night and it started up fine. I let the car warm up and then took off. Well about a mile down the road the car started doing the same thing. But this time it did it off and on. Low rpm's it would run like shit and and when i gave it full throttle it came in and out of it and finally ran right untill i let off the gas. What could this be? my gues is. Coil pack, igniton chip, alternator. Oh and one more thing i have a junk o2 sensor. Could that have anything to do with it? maybe drowning it with gas? PLEASE REPLY NEED CAR FOR WORK TOMMARROW!!

im around a 1/4 tank and my check engine light comes on when ever its running. Brand new plugs and wires. not sure what the problem is

If you get it to do it at idle again, figure out which cylinder is misfiring by pulling plug wires off one by one. The other way you can usually tell is by looking at the spark plugs - wet ones aren't firing. Then figure out if that cylinder's not getting spark or not getting fuel. If it's not a specific cylinder misfiring (or two cylinders that use the same coil) then you have a more general problem. Try wiggling electrical connections, then eliminating potential problems like replacing ignition components, fuel supply components, ecu, etc.

Well i have an extra ecu so i will try that tomarrow. I tried wiggling wires around but nothing helped. I was going to take the plug wires off one by one and find out but i didnt have time tonight. So first thing im gonna do is ecu. I think that its something electrical. If anyone has anymore thoughts thro them out there please and thank you guys!
