I have it off the caliper but how do I take it off the hard line. Theres some bolts there but theyre pretty soft and I dont wanna turn the wrong way and strip them.

I just finished upgrading my brake lines as well. I went through all the trouble of getting a flare nut wrench so that I wouldn't screw up the nut.

DON'T BOTHER.

Just get yourself 2 pairs of vice grips and twist. They break free pretty easily when you've got a good grip on them.

The only bad thing about using vise grips is that you are guaranteed to screw up the nut so you wont ever be able to use a wrench on it afterwards.

Which way do I twist each one? Top to the right and bottom to the left?

Who cares... you can't use a wrench on it to begin with, try if you like. With the vice grips just make sure you clamp the hell out of it on the flat edges and you'll be fine. I struggled with the flare nut wrench for the better part of 2 hours, just on one brake line and had totally screwed that nut up. Once i said '#### it' and grabbed the vise grips I removed all 4 brake lines and installed the new SS ones in less then 1/2 hour.

+1 for the vice grips. I tried getting them off with a normal wrench. Ha, that was NOT happening without major damage to the nut. The vice grips did not damage the nut very much at all though. I used a normal wrench to reinstall them and had no problems.
