Oem Fading Decal...

where can you buy the fading sticker or whatever you want to call it that goes around the bottom of the car?

That was probably after-market, put on by the dealer. Ask around at your local dealers for anyone still doing tape striping and the like; I don't know if the products are still available or not.

Most OEM badging is "obsolete" parts by now...meaning you can't get them from the dealership anymore. The only ones I know that are still available are the "AWD" decals on the B-pillar of the 1g GSX. I know for sure the badges on the rear bumper cover are obsolete on both 1g and 2g cars.

See if the dealership still carries your side decals...if not, your only option is finding a company to custom make them for you.

its not aftermarket im talking about the fading on the bottom around the car on the bumpers and side skirts...

Really don't know what you're talking about. What 'sticker'? I think some of the black Talons had a silver two-tone thing going on around the bottom foot or so of the car, but IIRC that was actual two-tone paint, not a decal/sticker.

MachV is still selling some of the 2G OEM decal sets for the rear. Doesn't really help when you want to pick up a new 1Ga stickerset for the rear right of the bumper though. :b

You are correct about the badging or decals being "obsolete". A body shop double checked if they are still available for my '90 Talon when they were fixing my door. Where I work (not auto related) we have to have spare parts to what we make for 7 years after the last model has been shipped. After that if a customer needs a part we have to special order it from our supplier and cost way more. Good luck finding them.
