Mine was powerdercoated in mirror black color at TRGcoating also, but didn't turn out as good as they said they would have it or showed me. Still looks good though. Try looking elsewhere first. Be careful of the ebay sellers selling the powdercoated valve covers online or the ones that offer powdercoating service. Ask how they clean and prepare the valve cover. If they say they beadblast it to clean the thing then stay away.
Hey by the way hows MI? im thinking of moving back to my old house on 16 and ryan. I think I know you from xceedspeed I had a black 3000gt and now i have a 98 gst spyder.
what is bad about beedblasting the valve cover to clean them? just wondering before i have mine cleaned and painted.
The particles from the beadblasting can get stuck on all that grime in the baffles and over time may fall into your engine.
...send me a PM if you want to see a pic of the valve cover. The particles from the beadblasting can get stuck on all that grime in the baffles and over time may fall into your engine.
